Dialogue evening in a community

A community evening with over 80 participants focused on defining a culture of dialogue within the community, due to frequent disagreements that cannot be bridged. The goal was to establish a culture of dialogue that allows people to listen to and understand each other without shaking the community's foundations.

Workshop philosophy

Initial situation

In a community there was a need for an exchange on sensitive topics on which the members did not agree.

Implementation

The LEGO Serious Play workshop was divided into 11 groups of 8 people each to ensure a productive and productive exchange. The groups included members with different opinions and perspectives, who were encouraged to exchange ideas on the topics.

11 shared images of what the members value about the community, and numerous ideas for how they want to regularly exchange ideas in the future to maintain common ground. The process is not yet complete. The feedback from participants was extremely positive.
