The LEGO® Serious Play® method brings intuitive knowledge to the table by allowing participants to visually shape their thoughts and ideas and give meaning to the bricks. Building models makes subconscious beliefs and deeper insights that are often difficult to put into words tangible. By explaining the models, the participants can share in their realities. This method promotes creative thinking and allows complex relationships to be intuitively grasped and expressed, making valuable perspectives and innovative solutions visible.

Holistic understanding

By integrating different senses, different areas of the brain are activated. This supports holistic thinking because it makes it possible to visually represent complex systems and their connections and illuminate them in different ways. By building models that symbolize different aspects of a situation or problem, not only individual parts are considered, but also their interactions in the overall context, this point is reinforced by the exchange between participants. This approach promotes a holistic understanding. By integrating different perspectives, making visible and the interaction of factors, solutions are thought of holistically.

Space to think

A room for the Lego® Serious Play® method should be spacious to allow for creative expression and movement – both essential elements for fostering creativity.

Sufficiently large tables for participants and separate tables for LEGO bricks ensure an optimal working environment.

Pinboards are indispensable for visibly recording results and reflecting on them directly within the room.

Furthermore, every outcome is professionally documented, enabling teams to effectively continue working with the insights gained even after the workshop.

Extensive facilitator network
