Dialogue evening in a community

A community meeting with over 80 participants focused on defining a culture of dialogue within the community, due to frequently occurring disagreements that cannot be bridged. The aim is to establish a culture of dialogue that allows for mutual listening and understanding without shaking the foundations of the community.

Workshop philosophy

Initial situation

In a community there was a need for an exchange on sensitive topics on which the members did not agree.

Implementation

The LEGO Serious Play workshop was divided into 11 groups of 8 people each to facilitate a productive and productive exchange. The groups included members with diverse opinions and perspectives, who were required to discuss the topics.

result

Eleven shared images were created, highlighting what members value about the community and numerous ideas for regular exchange in the future to maintain a common foundation. The process is ongoing. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive.
