We are part of the Great Place To Work Lab @ HWZ

  • September 19, 2025

At Pin-Point Consulting, we believe that sustainability emerges where people engage in dialogue, share knowledge, and boldly try new things. That's precisely why we're thrilled to be part of the Great Place To Work Lab @ HWZ Friends of the Lab , a platform that brings together research and practice in the field of work and organizational culture.

If I take the name “Friends of the Lab” literally, it contains much of what sustains me:

Friends. For me, that means critical but friendly exchange. A climate in which we challenge and strengthen each other at the same time. And for that, I am grateful.

Ecosystem. I am convinced that truly strong performance emerges where culture is not only value-creating but also appreciative . The collaboration between Great Place To Work and HWZ brings together precisely this approach: companies, organizations, and academia form a shared ecosystem where people can learn from each other, share experiences, and try out new approaches. It's a space where collaboration across silos becomes possible. This is precisely how innovation occurs.

Theory. Theory gives me orientation to understand the world. I'm pleased that, as part of the collaboration between HWZ, Great Place To Work, and many different organizations, theory is being further developed and applied in companies.

The Great Place To Work Lab @ HWZ and the Friends of the Lab represent precisely this connection: It promotes exchange between academia and practice, tests new workshop formats, provides space for innovative ideas, and brings topics directly into teaching. Together with HR leaders, experts, decision-makers, and lecturers, this creates a network that not only discusses work culture but actively develops it further.

This is where I feel at home. I'm convinced that the future of work won't be shaped by theory alone, nor by practice alone, but rather where both come into dialogue on equal terms.

Thanks to Dr. Nicolas Berkowitsch from Memospice and Dr. Thomas Schneider from Great Place To Work for the initiative and their work.
